Yup, my Smith just became a Legendary Wrestler. He's thirsty and probably going to die before he can drink from the many full casks of booze we have just feet away from them.

Abandoned the fort when:

-3 seasons had passed
-Fox 1 was still alive and beginning to heal
-Fox 2 had showed up
-My militia were only subsisting on water and starvation was beginning to settle in

Wow. Undead are kind of pussy except for the fact that they're goddamn immortal and will scare even your most seasoned veterans away from your booze/meat stores.

Started a new place and am off to a great start. Lost my Mason/Miner of my original seven to a stupid mining accident, and have seen herds of Elephants roaming the area, but generally this fort is moving along nicely. Once I get a well and a garbage pit set up I should have all the major accoutrements. I'm also wondering how easy it is to set up underground forests in the new version. If I had that, my dorfs could effectively wall themselves off from the surface at this point.

I seem to notice some glitchy behavior in the new version requiring finished goods, or particularly the clothing the dead dorf wore. It's like everyone keeps putting them away in the same bin, and then someone else comes over and adjusts how it's stored, and a third person adjusts it further, and so on. It's not a matter of them taking anything, there's just a cycle of dorfs accessing the same bin over and over, one after another. It's bizarre.

So. Awesome. I wish I had the attitude to stick with an obviously doomed fort for the random win like that. Once I feel like a place is doomed, I usually just abandon ship and start a new one.

whoever did that is wasting their time. They should be super rich by now if they weren't playing DFort. The graphic design and story-telling are superb.
He's embiggened that role with his cromulent performance.
