Here's to the crazy ones... the misfits; the rebels; the troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes- ones who see things differently. They're not fond of rules or the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can't do is ignore them; because they change things. They push the human race forward. While some may see them as the crazy ones, I see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world are the ones who do.

"atheist" is misspelled (i before e) at least twice (larf and phisicsboy).

From what I've read by anthropologists, animism seems to be a non-definition, basically equivalent to saying "miscelanious". It is used to describe belief in spirits or gods that is not an organized religion.

I tested Universalist/Unitarian, and consider myself a Christian-leaning or Quaker monotheist. The philosophy is more important to me than the dogmatism, if that makes sence.

I'm Catholic...maybe not the best one, but enough to claim it

...although im sure that's known by anyone who saw those 2 or 3 insanely long threads in the Religion forum a few months back
J.D.: They actually arrested someone for stealing pudding and toilet paper?
Janitor: No, they found twenty bottles of Vicodin in his backpack. (beat) Wait, did you steal pudding and toilet paper?
J.D.: What? No! I hate pudding and I don't use... toilet paper... (Janitor stares) I have one of those French things that shoots water up your butt.
Janitor: Bidet?
J.D.: Bidet to you, sir.

I lean towards weak atheism now, which really isn't all that different from agnosticism. I suppose, in disavowing the Christian/monothesitic God as a power mad father figure that I was given as a child I am in that sense an atheist. The only thing that could change that is drastically modifying what "God" means or how we would construct such a concept.

I'm a fairly strong materialist, but I don't consider scientific knowledge absolute. Science itself doesn't claim to be absolute........

Liberal Quakers (100%)

Though I consider myself agnositc. Interestingly, I was raised Catholic and that's the lowest on the list.

Also, I refuse to take a survey that lists scientology as an actual 'religon' seriously.

Did you guys see the article in the daily about the gospel of the Flying speghetti monster? I believe in a hundred years or so that there will be a religion (like christanity) that follows that book. I think its the same thing that happened with the bible
Reality is almost always wrong.

[quote]
Secular Humanism
-Belief in Deity: Not considered important. Most Humanists are atheists or agnostics.
-Incarnations: Same as above.
-Origins of universe/life: The scientific method is most respected as the means for revealing the mysteries of the origins of the universe and life.
-After death: An afterlife or spiritual existence after death is not recognized.
-Why evil? No concept of “evil.â€

I don't see it as very likely. Also, I think the authors of the bible actually believed what they were writing, praise be to FSM, RAmen.

SelectSmart pegs me as a Secular Humanist. I'm not sure I like the term, though. Too human-centric.
